About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team on a fixed-term basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple high-value procurements, supporting senior procurement specialists in negotiations, and providing guidance to procurement officers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple procurements simultaneously, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery
  • Support senior procurement specialists in negotiations, including pricing structures and performance mechanisms
  • Provide guidance and training to procurement officers on relevant projects
  • Ensure all business needs and expectations are met or exceeded

Requirements:

  • CIPS Level 5 qualification is essential
  • High level of working knowledge and experience in the public sector
  • Experience of running tender processes from start to finish
