Expro is currently seeking a Technical Trainer - Well Test to become part of the Competence & Assurance team.

Overall Purpose of the Role

To deliver vital technical education and competency support for the enhancement of Expro's workforce within a specified geographical area or product line(s), ensuring consistently high standards of service quality.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

Serve as a hands-on technical instructor by demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of the subject matter and effectively communicating concepts, building skills, and linking subject matter with related knowledge areas. Assess all training initiatives and engage in the continuous enhancement of training materials; evaluate course objectives against participant performance. Create and present technical training materials, including instructional resources and teaching aids. Collaborate with Operations Management to identify employee training needs and foster continuous improvement of the training program, adhering to established Group training guidelines. Design, develop, and execute technical/operational skills demonstration exercises utilizing specialized product line knowledge. Review training programs and contribute to the ongoing improvement of training materials; assess course objectives against participant performance. Partner with operations management to ensure ongoing competence assessment of operational personnel, including necessary competency induction. Provide insights for the review and updating of global competencies as required. Collaborate with relevant teams (such as Engineering Design, Operations, and Business Development) to offer training support for new products and enhancements. When necessary, coordinate the scheduling of training programs and instructor activities, ensuring materials are prepared and available. Facilitate work groups, teams, and/or meetings related to training and competency topics. Work alongside external training specialists in the development and delivery of training programs. May conduct technical training for clients as needed.

Knowledge and Qualifications Required

Extensive field experience with Data Acquisition for Well Testing and prior roles as a DAQ Engineer or Well Test Supervisor. Strong field background and experience with Expro Well Test Product line Operations, with exposure to various Well Test applications globally. Previous experience in Training and Competency management is advantageous.
