Urban Design Lead

At Urban Initiatives Studio, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Urban Planner to join our team of urban design experts. As a Senior Urban Planner, you will play a key role in delivering high-profile urban projects across the UK, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and further afield.
About the RoleWe are looking for a talented and enthusiastic individual with a minimum of 10 years of post-qualification experience in urban design and masterplanning. You will have worked in a leading capacity in the conceptualisation, management, and design of medium and large-scale masterplanning, urban design, or policy development projects. Your experience should include client-facing interaction, team leadership, presentation, project management, and report writing.
Key Responsibilities- Work as lead designer and project manager in close collaboration with our leadership team on a range of urban design, masterplanning, or policy projects in the UK or overseas.
- Develop and implement creative urban design and masterplanning solutions that meet the needs of our clients and stakeholders.
- Manage and lead project teams to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
