Quality Assurance Specialist
  • First Base is seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections and assessments of incoming materials and finished products.
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and execute final inspection processes
  • Conduct detailed inspections of components to verify adherence to customer specifications and engineering drawings
  • Support the monitoring of non-conformance issues
  • Perform in-process inspections of products to ensure quality standards are maintained
  • Utilize company documentation accurately
  • Maintain and verify all calibrated equipment within the inspection area, ensuring proper control and record-keeping
  • Manage inspection tools and equipment
  • Coordinate the dispatch of products to customers
  • Control the inspection of incoming goods as necessary
  • Update and amend documentation as required
  • Monitor and report on materials affecting production processes
Qualifications and Skills
  • Experience in product inspection within an engineering context
  • Background in engineering or related fields
  • Familiarity with CMM systems is a plus
Join us in a day shift role with an early finish on Fridays, contributing to our commitment to quality and excellence.
