The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections and assessments of incoming materials and finished products.
- Oversee and execute final inspection processes
- Conduct detailed inspections of components to verify adherence to customer specifications and engineering drawings
- Support the monitoring of non-conformance issues
- Perform in-process inspections of products to ensure quality standards are maintained
- Utilize company documentation accurately
- Maintain and verify all calibrated equipment within the inspection area, ensuring proper control and record-keeping
- Manage inspection tools and equipment
- Coordinate the dispatch of products to customers
- Control the inspection of incoming goods as necessary
- Update and amend documentation as required
- Monitor and report on materials affecting production processes
- Experience in product inspection within an engineering context
- Background in engineering or related fields
- Familiarity with CMM systems is a plus
