About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Client Service Advisor to join our Insolvency and Restructuring team in Birmingham. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with Insolvency Practitioners and Receivers to deliver exceptional client service and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and onboard new clients, ensuring a seamless experience
  • Manage a busy caseload, identifying and addressing insurance risks for Insolvency Practitioners
  • Work within delegated underwriting authority parameters, ensuring correct covers are in place and referring to the underwriter as needed
  • Complete renewals of risks in a timely manner, adhering to compliant processes
  • Identify client service requirements and support the service team to exceed agreed standards
  • Collaborate with Client Directors to achieve exceptional client service
  • Drive high-level service to each client, within area of responsibility
  • Build and maintain a deep understanding of each client's business and the Insolvency industry
  • Manage client expectations, keeping them informed of progress and communicating as necessary
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client files, adhering to agreed procedures
Requirements
  • Insurance experience, preferably gained at an insurance broker
  • High level of FCA Principle and Procedures knowledge
  • Strong technical knowledge, particularly in major and pecuniary classes, Property/Casualty, and Combined
  • Organized, with the ability to prioritize work and deliver accurately and on time
  • Acturis experience is a plus, but not essential
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment to deadlines
