We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality Assurance Manager to join our team at Hunter Selection. As a Quality Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team of Quality Engineers and Quality Inspectors, working closely with the QHSE Manager to ensure the highest quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Management: Manage a team of Quality Engineers and Quality Inspectors on a day-to-day basis, providing guidance and support to ensure they are meeting their responsibilities.
  • Quality Improvement: Inspect and improve products, monitor and develop inspection processes to ensure they are in line with customer specifications.
  • Policy Development: Contribute to the development of quality assurance policies and procedures, ensuring they are aligned with industry standards.
  • Manufacturing Oversight: Ensure manufacturing processes are adhering to product requirements and customer specifications.
  • Problem Solving: Facilitate problem-solving activities related to customer concerns, customer rejects, and warranty returns, using 8D methodology and implementing poke yokes where feasible.
  • Training and Development: Train inspectors and production team members to understand customer quality requirements.
  • Performance Analysis: Analyze daily quality performance data and report top issues to manufacturing.
Requirements
  • Experience: Must have experience working within Automotive/Plastics Engineering, with a strong understanding of IATF standards.
  • Motivation: Must be motivated to further their career into management.
  • Communication Skills: Must have good communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
