Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our dedicated team at Kingston College. As a Security Officer, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our students, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and control access to the college premises, ensuring that only authorized personnel and visitors are allowed entry.
  • Conduct regular security patrols of the campus, identifying and reporting any potential security risks or hazards.
  • Operate and maintain CCTV systems, responding promptly to any security incidents or alarms.
  • Assist with the investigation of security incidents, gathering evidence and interviewing witnesses as necessary.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to students, staff, and visitors, responding to their queries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements:

  • Hold a valid SIA Door Supervisor license.
  • Have a strong understanding of security protocols and procedures.
  • Be able to work effectively in a team environment, communicating clearly and concisely with colleagues.
  • Be able to work independently, making sound judgments and decisions in high-pressure situations.
  • Hold a valid First Aid at Work Certificate.

Working Hours:

The successful candidate will be required to work a variety of shifts, including mornings and evenings, Monday to Friday. The exact hours of work will be discussed and agreed upon during the recruitment process.
