About the Role

Sellick Partnership Limited - Public Sector is proud to be working with an exceptional shared legal services team in the heart of the public sector. We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Contracts Lawyer to join a large alternative business structure operating on behalf of public sector clients.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a large shared service arrangement on a permanent basis which prides itself on being one of the market leaders for undertaking public sector work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing legal support and advice to public sector clients to progress and complete a procurement subject to the Public Contract Regulations.
  • Assisting public sector clients to establish companies, providing company secretarial support, and advising on general corporate issues for public sector trading companies.
  • Practical and recent knowledge in drafting Construction Contracts and associated documents on behalf of public sector clients, advising on issues arising in the preparation of and from construction contracts.

Requirements

We would be extremely interested in hearing from candidates with a private practice or public sector background.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have 3+ years' recent experience dealing with the following matters:

  • Providing legal support and advice to public sector clients to progress and complete a procurement subject to the Public Contract Regulations.
