Job Title: Registered Care Home Manager

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Registered Care Home Manager to join our team at Gateway Support Limited. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care and quality are maintained in our care homes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the implementation of quality assurances and governance systems to promote quality and safety.
  • Liaise with local authorities and social care regulators to maintain satisfactory standards.
  • Manage the day-to-day running of the care home and ensure the well-being of residents.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to staff to promote and deliver care to the highest possible standard.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including CQC registrations and inspections.
  • Develop and promote a culture of continuous improvement and care for our service users.
  • Conduct regular reviews with staff, residents, and medical professionals to ensure the highest standards of care are maintained.
  • Ensure the home is fully compliant with the Mental Capacity Act and other relevant legislation.
  • Manage the procurement, supply chain, and contracts to ensure the efficient running of the care home.
Requirements:
  • Experience as a Registered Care Manager or Deputy Manager with NVQ 5/RMN.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Ability to promote a culture of continuous improvement and care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with local authorities and social care regulators.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance.
