Associate Lecturer in Multi-Skills Construction

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Lecturer in Multi-Skills Construction to join our dynamic team at Chichester College. As an Associate Lecturer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to our students, helping them to develop the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver teaching and learning activities, including tutoring, to students on our construction courses.
- Prepare and deliver learning materials, assessments, and assignments in a timely manner.
- Undertake administration tasks, including reporting and statistics, to support student and teaching matters.
- Take an active role in achieving high individual student retention and success rates, meeting or surpassing relevant targets.
- Develop curricula and learning activities, taking into consideration literacy and numeracy development, equality and diversity, and safeguarding.
- Level 2 (or equivalent) in a related subject.
- Level 2 literacy and numeracy.
- Relevant industrial/commercial/subject experience.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- An understanding of safeguarding vulnerable groups.
- An understanding of teaching and assessing learners.
As a successful candidate, you will have a passion for teaching and learning, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team. You will also have a strong understanding of the construction industry and the skills and knowledge required to succeed in it.
