Head of Data Strategy, Design and Control

Role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic individual to join our senior leadership team in Data Services as the Head of Data Strategy, Design and Control. This role will play a key part in our journey of data-enabled design transformation, making data the key enabler in our mission to put the savers at the heart of everything we do.

Responsibilities

  1. Provide strategic direction for data strategy, data architecture, quality, and Knowledge and Information Management (KIM).
  2. Lead the design and implementation of our data strategy in collaboration with the organization over the next one to three years.
  3. Lead and develop data governance, data quality, data architecture, and KIM teams.
  4. Champion data design, quality, and control across TPR.
  5. Partner with the business to ensure data is at the core of what we do.
  6. Lead the design and implementation of data across areas including reference and master data, data modelling and architecture, data quality, and data sharing.
  7. Lead on short to medium-term planning and oversee operational processes in your areas.

Essential Criteria:

  1. Extensive specialist knowledge and ability to provide leadership on all aspects of the enterprise data management life cycle.
  2. Extensive knowledge and experience in improving the quality of data and enabling organizations and systems to interoperate through data architecture.
  3. Excellent stakeholder management skills.
  4. Demonstrable understanding of the overall data landscape, emerging risks, technology, and trends.
  5. Experience in setting and overseeing system-wide direction on data architecture standards.
  6. People and performance management skills.
  7. Creative and innovative approach.
