About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Manager to join our Mortgage Enforcement team at TLT LLP. As a Team Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of approximately 20 Case Handlers and Office Assistants, reporting directly to the Assistant Operations Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work Management: Meet and exceed client and TLT expectations by actively managing work levels, quality, and resources within the team.
  • Quality and Compliance: Utilize various management tools and methods to manage work quality, policy compliance, and service standards, including metrics, league tables, and audits.
Team Development
  • Supervision and Coaching: Conduct regular supervision meetings and appraisals, working with Team Coaches to address staff-related issues, such as poor performance, sickness, and absence levels.
  • Talent Development: Identify and develop talent within the team by delegating, coaching, mentoring, and training individuals to enhance their skills and performance.
Management and Leadership
  • Team Performance: Meet regularly with the Assistant Operations Manager to discuss team performance and implement strategies for improvement.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical and day-to-day support to the team, addressing queries and concerns in a timely and effective manner.
  • Committee and Project Leadership: Lead committees, projects, and initiatives, driving results and ensuring successful outcomes.
Client Management and Reporting
  • Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, engaging with them on a daily basis to understand their business objectives and working methods.
  • Metrics and Reporting: Monitor metrics, identify patterns and trends, and discuss findings with clients to provide solutions to any issues identified.
About You
  • Technical Expertise: Possess a clear understanding of a range of technical repossession issues and solutions.
  • Commercial Awareness: Demonstrate an awareness of the commercial concerns of clients.
  • Volume Caseload Experience: Have experience working within a volume caseload environment.
  • Case Management: Be confident in managing multiple cases simultaneously.
  • Regulatory Environment: Be able to work in a strict regulatory environment.
  • People Management: Possess people management or supervisory experience, which would be advantageous.
