Role Overview:
In the capacity of Land Acquisition Specialist, you will report directly to the Enabling Manager and play a pivotal role in facilitating landowner interactions, securing land access, and managing land acquisition processes across our delivery initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Land Access & Acquisition:
Oversee external Land Agency operations. Manage project elements including forecasting, budgeting, and scheduling, as well as legal negotiations and compensation settlements. Provide precise forecasts related to land compensation and acquisitions.Landowner Engagement:
Identify and engage with key regional landowners to facilitate timely approvals for our projects. Collaborate with environmental teams to formulate land strategies that support sustainable solutions. Develop initiatives to improve landowner relations.Strategic Land Management:
Create and implement a comprehensive land strategy for the organization. Ensure uniform execution of land acquisition activities across all teams and partners by refining existing processes. Support the advancement of digital tools for managing land access and acquisition data.Land Agency Collaboration:
Manage relationships with Land Agency partners. Collaborate with procurement teams to enhance the supply chain framework for land services.Required Skills and Experience:
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in land management, with proven expertise in land access and acquisition processes. A solid understanding of property rights and statutory powers is essential, along with qualifications such as MRICS or AssocRICS.
Your excellent communication skills will enable you to effectively engage with landowners and stakeholders, while your ability to manage multiple projects will ensure timely delivery of objectives.
