Job Title: Lead EC&I Project Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Project Controls and Instrumentation Lead to join our team at JBS Global Resourcing. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of our projects across the UK power station sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical leadership and expertise in Controls and Instrumentation (C&I) projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and maintenance, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Manage and coordinate with contractors, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure project deliverables are met.
  • Ensure effective health, safety, and environmental management, adhering to NEBOSH Certificate level or equivalent standards.
  • Apply knowledge of complex C&I process system operations, regulations, and policies affecting process plant engineering assets.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including project reports, status updates, and lessons learned.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring proactive issue resolution and minimizing downtime.
  • Manage and optimize project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
  • Develop and implement best practices for lean project management, ensuring efficient and effective project delivery.

Requirements:

  • Higher National Diploma or Degree in a Control & Instrumentation related discipline.
  • Sound technical knowledge of engineering, project management, and maintenance practices.
  • NEBOSH Certificate level or equivalent in health, safety, and environmental management.
  • Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Proven experience in project management, with a focus on C&I projects.
  • Strong knowledge of project management tools and techniques, including SAP-based systems.
  • Full and clean UK driving license.
