Service Centre Parts Coordinator

As a Service Centre Parts Advisor at Apex Resource Management, you will play a crucial role in managing the stock and tooling on site, in Field Technician Vehicles, and at Customer locations to reflect current and projected requirements.
- Manage inventory levels to ensure accurate and timely supply of parts to meet customer demands.
- Ensure the safe storage and handling of hazardous materials in accordance with Health and Safety and COSHH guidelines.
- Utilize resources to accurately identify parts prior to supply or order, minimizing errors and delays.
- Coordinate with suppliers to obtain required parts, reducing VOR costs and improving customer satisfaction.
- Place orders and receive parts accurately and methodically, ensuring seamless delivery to customers and Field Technicians.
- Conduct regular stock checks to maintain inventory accuracy and identify areas for improvement.
- Liaise with off-site engineers to supply correct parts, meeting deadlines and exceeding customer expectations.
- Process warranty returns and dispose of obsolete parts in a timely and efficient manner.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience in a Parts Advisor or similar role, with a strong understanding of inventory management and supply chain processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, with experience in using ERP/SAP inventory systems.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to plan and manage your own diary, prioritize tasks, and multitask effectively.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise with colleagues at all levels and customers, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to implement processes and recommend new ideas to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Forklift training would be beneficial, as would experience of working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of health and safety practices and procedures, with a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
