Job Summary:

We are looking for a Compliance Manager to lead our financial crime team and ensure that our systems and processes are compliant with regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will have experience in a similar role and a strong understanding of the UK regulatory environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Financial Crime Team: The Compliance Manager will lead the financial crime team and ensure that our systems and processes are compliant with regulatory requirements.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Regulatory Developments: The Compliance Manager will stay up-to-date with UK and EU regulatory developments and ensure that our policies and procedures are current.
  • Act as a Compliance Expert: The Compliance Manager will act as a compliance expert and advise senior leaders on control environments to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Interpret and Communicate Regulatory Requirements: The Compliance Manager will interpret and communicate new regulatory requirements to senior management and ensure that our products and services comply.
  • Provide Compliance Input: The Compliance Manager will provide compliance input to business transformation initiatives and ensure that we are prepared for regulatory changes.
  • Support the Senior Managers & Certification Regime: The Compliance Manager will support the Senior Managers & Certification Regime and maintain regulatory requirements.
  • Work with the Risk & Compliance Team: The Compliance Manager will work closely with the Risk & Compliance team for knowledge sharing.
  • Embed a Customer-Focused Compliance Culture: The Compliance Manager will assist in embedding a customer-focused compliance culture.
  • Review and Develop LMS Training: The Compliance Manager will review and develop LMS training to meet regulatory standards.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Experience in a similar compliance/audit role within Financial Services, ideally in Insurance.
  • Qualifications: A degree or relevant professional qualification (e.g., ACII, ICA).
  • Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and report writing skills.
  • Ability: Ability to review procedures, communicate findings, and influence senior management to ensure compliance.
