Industrial Door Engineer Job Description

Infinity Employment is seeking a skilled Industrial Door Engineer to join our team. As an Industrial Door Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing industrial doors and shutters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install new shutters and overhead sectional doors
  • Attend out-of-hours work when required, at time and a half
  • Diagnose faults, conduct site surveys, and complete job sheets detailing issues and repair requirements
  • Ensure the company meets strict Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
  • Travel to customer sites to perform service, installation, and repair work on industrial, retail, and commercial doors
Requirements:
  • Enthusiastic and able to work independently or as part of a team
  • Clear communication skills, both verbally and in writing
  • Capable of manual handling and physical work
  • Flexible and able to adapt to changes in workload
  • Competent in advising customers on solutions to their problems
  • Competent in using digital technologies for completing job sheets, emails, and fault diagnosis
Experience and Qualifications:
  • Full UK driving license, with a clean driving record
  • Preferred previous experience in commercial and industrial roller shutters
