Red Bull Advanced Technologies is a leading innovation powerhouse driving cutting-edge projects across land, sea, and air. Our mission is to push the boundaries of performance and design, and we're seeking a talented Composites Design Engineer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop composite structures and components using 3D CAD software, working closely with the Head of Composites & Structural Analysis.
  • Collaborate with other design engineers and stress analysts to create detailed laminate designs for composite structures and components.
  • Produce designs and drawings that meet RBAT standards, principles, and quality measures.
  • Understand composite processing and create manufacturable designs, including pre-preg specifications, metallic/composite inserts, foam/honeycomb cores, mandrels, bladders, tooling, fasteners, and surface coatings.
  • Apply structural principles and perform simple calculations to inform the design process, including preliminary sizing of hardpoints, adhesive joints, lugs, and fasteners.
Requirements:
  • Education to degree level or equivalent in Engineering, Design, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Siemens NX 3D Design software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Proactive, passionate, and flexible attitude.
  • Experience in Motorsport, Automotive, Aerospace, or a fast-paced Engineering Consultancy is advantageous.
