Instrumentation and Control Engineer

Green Cat Renewables Ltd is a dynamic and innovative company that provides technical services for renewable energy projects. We are seeking an experienced Instrumentation and Control Engineer to join our Engineering team in Edinburgh or Glasgow.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop control and telecommunications architecture
  • Identify input and output schedules, develop control schematics, and carry out control panel design (PLC/DCS) and junction box layouts
  • Develop, validate, and verify the architecture of SCADA servers and clients
  • Lead testing and validation of control systems, including functional testing (FAT / iFAT / SAT), and field trials
  • Design and review engineering work packages, loop diagrams, wiring diagrams, data sheets, piping and instrumentation diagrams, mechanical package interconnection drawings
  • Collaborate with designers in other disciplines to coordinate designs, specifications, and requirements
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of engineering experience
  • Electrical background specializing in communication, Control/Data Acquisition, and electronics
  • Valid driving license
