Consultant in Chronic Pain Management with interest in Anaesthesia

We are seeking two highly skilled Consultants to join our forward-thinking team at Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust. As a Consultant in Chronic Pain Management with an interest in Anaesthesia, you will play a key role in our multidisciplinary team, working closely with other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Share the caseload, facilities, and trainee grade support with existing consultants
- Contribute to the development and implementation of Pain Management interventions, including seminars, groups, individual sessions/treatment, and Pain Management Programmes
- Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to provide a full range of Pain Management services, including Low back Pain, Complex Regional Pain Syndrome, Fibromyalgia, Neuromodulation (SCS), and Opioid reduction medical intervention
- Participate in MDT streams, including Chronic Pain, Cancer and Palliative Care, and Complex Spine
- Support the Department of Anaesthesia in its teaching role and contribute to the development of junior medical staff

Requirements- MB ChB, MBBS or equivalent
- Fellowship of the Faculty of Pain Medicine
- Holder of Certificate of completion of training (CCT) or within six months of award of CCT or equivalent by date of interview
- Desirable: Higher Medical Degree (MD or MSc), Six month advanced general training, Post CCT experience in chronic pain medicine
