Job Title: Care Team Manager

We are seeking an experienced Care Team Manager to join our team at Thistle Healthcare Jobs. As a Care Team Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of care professionals to deliver high-quality care and support to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of care professionals to deliver high-quality care and support to residents
  • Implement and oversee housekeeping Standard Operating Procedures and documentation
  • Facilitate guidance and mentorship of junior care staff
  • Carry out support visits to care homes to review housekeeping, laundry, and infection control standards
  • Ensure infection prevention and control within services
  • Manage waste management and deep cleans
  • Work proactively with Home Managers and care teams
  • Participate in audits and inspections
  • Prepare reports on inspections
  • Maintain oversight of laundry services
Requirements:
  • Experience in care management or a related field
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of infection prevention and control
  • Ability to manage waste and deep cleans
