Job Title: Domestic Maintenance Plumber

Example Recruitment Group is currently working with a well-established regional plumbing and heating contractor to recruit a Domestic Maintenance Plumber to join their team on a full-time permanent basis.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out general plumbing maintenance, repairs, and wet works within domestic properties in North West, West, or South West London areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Carry out general plumbing maintenance inclusive of:
    1. Replacing Radiators and TRVs
    2. Replacing Ball Valves
    3. Replacing Pipework
    4. Replacing Cylinders
    5. Identifying and Fixing Leaks
    6. Fixing and Replacing Taps
  2. Ensure a high level of customer care is met on a day-to-day basis.
  3. Meet business KPIs
  4. Follow Health & Safety Guidelines
Requirements:
  1. 1 year's experience as a Plumber
  2. Previous experience working within domestic properties carrying out fault finding, maintenance, and repairs on plumbing systems
  3. Diploma, City & Guilds or NVQ qualification in Plumbing
  4. Full UK Driving Licence - no more than 6 points
  5. No unspent criminal convictions (DBS Check to be carried out on offer of employment)
Salary and Benefits:
  1. Improver/Trainee - £25,000 per annum
  2. Plumbing Diploma & Under 2 years' experience - £25,000 per annum plus Bonus
  3. Plumbing Diploma & 2 years' experience - £28,000 per annum plus Bonus
  4. NVQ Level 2 & 6 months experience - £30,000 per annum plus Bonus
  5. NVQ Level 2 & 2 years' experience - £35,000 per annum plus Bonus
  6. NVQ Level 2 & 3 to 4 years' experience - £38,000 per annum plus Bonus
  7. NVQ Level 2 & 5 years' experience - £40,000 per annum plus Bonus
  8. Expected OTE with bonus & call out - £10,000+ per annum on top of basic annual salary
  9. Van & Fuelcard Provided
  10. 45 hours per week Monday to Friday
  11. Call out once per week paid additionally per job
  12. 28 days Holiday including Bank Holiday
