We are seeking an experienced Game Economy Designer to join our team at Trailmix Games, the makers of the popular casual mobile game Love & Pies. As a key member of our game development team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing the game's economic systems, ensuring a engaging and rewarding experience for our players.
Key Responsibilities- Design and Balance Economic Systems: Develop and implement game economies that are engaging, rewarding, and balanced, taking into account the game's creative vision and business objectives.
- Optimize and Analyze Game Performance: Use data and analytics to identify areas for improvement and optimize the game's economic systems to achieve business objectives.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with game designers, product managers, developers, data scientists, and artists to ensure that the game's economic systems align with the overall game vision and strategy.
- Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Trends: Continuously monitor industry trends and best practices in game economy design to ensure that our game remains competitive and engaging.
- Experience in Game Economy Design: Significant experience working in game economy design or product management in a live service game.
- Technical Skills: Strong technical skills in modeling game economies through spreadsheets and/or more advanced simulations.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills and experience in drawing insights from complex data.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
