We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Advisor to join our team at Bilfinger UK Limited. As a Quality Advisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality projects and services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide quality support to projects, including quality assurance, quality control, and audit processes.
- Ensure that quality systems are established and managed across projects and communicated to stakeholders.
- Proactively promote 'right first time' methodology across the business to reduce non-conformances within the project environment.
- Collaborate with the HSE team to deliver safety awareness at site level and apply quality techniques to non-conformances.
- Conduct internal and external audits, produce reports, and validate the implementation and effectiveness of corrective actions.
- Monitor and review quality performance against agreed KPIs.
- Oversee quality operations to ensure adherence to documentation and specifications.
- Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure compliance with company and project requirements.
- Prepare and review quality plans, inspection and test plans, and supporting QA documentation.
- Attend project-related meetings and liaise with procurement teams regarding quality requirements.
- Good engineering and QA/QC background.
- CQI membership or accreditation.
- Recognized and current internal auditor qualification.
- Full understanding of internal audits and ability to communicate outcomes.
- Development of project QA documentation and review of supplier QA documentation.
- Demonstrable knowledge and experience of Quality Management Systems in a regulated environment.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to articulate resolution tools and techniques.
- Knowledge and familiarity with KPIs and performance monitoring techniques.
- Ability to understand and interpret ISO Management System Standards, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Computer literacy and knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
- Good communication and report writing skills.
- Good understanding of ISO 45001.
- +5 years' experience working in a highly regulated industry.
- Experience or qualification in special processes such as NDT, heat treatment, surface treatment, or dimensional verification.
- Pipework, steelwork, and insulation knowledge.
- Detailed knowledge of related specifications.
- Able to work quickly and accurately under pressure.
- Attention to detail.
- Full clean driving license.
