Job Title: Contract Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Manager to join our team at Queen Victoria Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading specific areas of category spend, undertaking sourcing and procuring exercises that meet stakeholder requirements by demonstrating value for money and promoting an integrated approach in meeting deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with stakeholders to support the requirements of the Trust and relevant third-party organisations.
  • Provide continuous opportunities to make efficiencies and cost reductions for the Trust and where appropriate, across multiple organisations.
  • Support the Head of Procurement with the management and development of the procurement team.
  • Contribute to the development and reporting of an agreed work plan, including a resource plan and the realisation of annual savings and compliance with all relevant procurement legislation.
  • Identify areas for future opportunities and bring added value to the benefit of the department and the Trust.

Requirements: The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels. They will also have a strong understanding of procurement principles and practices, with experience of leading sourcing and procurement exercises.
