Job Summary

IC Resources is seeking a skilled Software Test Automation Specialist to join their team at their Edinburgh R+D Centre. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for developing test automation software in Python and LabView to target validation automation software packages for lab-based hardware / chip validation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop test automation software in Python and LabView to automate validation processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and develop test automation frameworks
  • Design and implement test automation scripts to ensure efficient and effective testing
  • Work closely with engineers to develop and implement test automation solutions
  • Contribute to the development of test automation best practices and standards

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in test automation using Python and/or LabView
  • Strong understanding of software development principles and testing methodologies
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
