General Counsel - Group

Our client, a multinational company, is seeking a highly experienced General Counsel to lead the legal function across the Group. This is a key leadership role that requires a strong legal professional with a proven track record of operating at an international level.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and support the legal department in providing expert legal advice to senior leaders at board level.
  • Lead and manage corporate M&A activities, including the drafting and negotiation of various commercial agreements.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of core international legal functions, corporate governance, and ESG.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Manage and develop teams across the business globally.
Requirements:
  • An English qualified solicitor with at least 10 years' post-qualified experience.
  • Proven track record of operating at an international level.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commercial/business outlook to their work.
  • Experience of managing legal teams and people.
