As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our clients, troubleshooting and resolving issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of their IT systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide technical support to clients via remote access and ensure timely resolution of technical issues
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues using your knowledge and problem-solving skills
- Carry out proactive maintenance and administration tasks on client IT systems
- Manage client endpoints, servers, networks, firewalls, and backup services
- Prepare new hardware for customer networks, including PC and laptop domain setup, security updates, and encryption
- Workshop fault diagnosis and repair of customer equipment, including PCs, laptops, and servers
- Project work, including deployment of new equipment, virtual servers, Wi-Fi, and Microsoft 365 migrations
- Excellent customer service skills and a professional telephone manner
- Ability to multi-task and willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
- Self-driven, highly organized, and accurate with strong attention to detail
- Ability to troubleshoot complex issues using your own initiative
- Minimum 2 years' experience in end-user remote and telephone support helpdesk
- Excellent knowledge of computer architecture, Microsoft Desktop Operating Systems, and Windows Server operating systems
- Administering and supporting Windows Server operating systems, Microsoft Office, and LAN and WAN networking
- Virtualization using Microsoft Hyper-V and VMware vSphere, mobile devices, and Microsoft 365 Cloud services
- Microsoft Azure cloud services, Remote Desktop Services, and backup software
