Job Opportunity

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as an Assistant Branch Manager. As a key member of our branch team, you will be responsible for managing existing accounts, making proactive sales calls, and maximizing sales opportunities. You will also work on the trade counter as required and take full responsibility for the branch in the manager's absence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage existing accounts and develop new business opportunities
  • Make proactive internal and external sales calls to maximize sales
  • Work on the trade counter to provide excellent customer service
  • Take full responsibility for the branch in the manager's absence
  • Operate a Zero Harm Health and Safety policy

Requirements

  • Supervisory experience in the trade/construction industry
  • Good knowledge of products and services
  • Previous exposure to all aspects of a branch, including Sales, Operations, Administration, and Stock Control
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Great telephone manner
  • Methodical approach and attention to detail
  • IT literacy
  • Self-motivation and ability to adapt to change
