We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Academic Policy Developer to join our dynamic team within the Institute of Extended Learning. In this crucial role, you will play a pivotal part in establishing the framework of academic policies and regulations that govern our expanding portfolio of short courses, micro-credentials, and stackable degrees.
Your Impact:
- Lead the research and development of comprehensive academic policies and regulations for extended learning provision, ensuring alignment with university standards and external regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate closely with a diverse range of stakeholders, including faculty members, Registry staff, Student Union representatives, and quality assurance experts, to foster a collaborative and inclusive policy-making process.
- Analyze data from internal quality assurance procedures for extended learning programs and modules, providing insightful recommendations to senior university committees to enhance the overall quality and effectiveness of our offerings.
- Contribute to the development of robust systems for data sharing between Registry colleagues and departments offering extended learning provision, streamlining processes and promoting transparency.
Your Expertise:
We are looking for an individual with a proven track record in higher education quality assurance and policy development. You possess:
- A deep understanding of quality assurance and enhancement processes within a higher education setting.
- Experience leading the development and implementation of academic policies and regulations, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and guidelines.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders and build strong working relationships.
- A meticulous attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
