Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to join our Quality Assurance and Enhancement Team as an Assistant Registrar (Academic Policy). The successful candidate will lead on the development and implementation of academic policy and associated quality assurance procedure documentation, ensuring that internal quality assurance and regulatory frameworks meet the expectations of external regulatory bodies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead on the development and implementation of academic policy and associated quality assurance procedure documentation.
  • Ensure that internal quality assurance and regulatory frameworks meet the expectations of external regulatory bodies.
  • Develop and maintain data sets to support quality assurance procedures.
  • Design and deliver staff briefing sessions on the implementation of academic policies.
  • Manage the policy review cycle.
  • Work with relevant teams across the university to develop data sets to support quality assurance procedures.
  • Analyze data and present recommendations to senior committees.
  • Develop systems to enhance data sharing within Registry and with colleagues in departments and faculties.
Requirements
  • Experience of quality assurance and enhancement processes and procedures in a higher education setting.
  • Experience of leading the development and implementation of academic policy and associated quality assurance procedure documentation.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with ability to liaise with colleagues at all levels of the College.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex information clearly, concisely and persuasively; highly developed negotiating and influencing skills.
