Job Summary:

A leading provider of technical safety, risk management, and environmental services is seeking an experienced Environmental Consents Lead to join their team. This role will be focused on offshore wind, while leading the team with environmental consents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage current clients' environmental consents across renewable and hydrogen projects.
  • Provide technical advice for consents management on projects in the UK, with a focus on the offshore wind industry.
  • Act as the main point of contact for the environmental consents program and continue to develop the offering that the organization has.
  • Lead on any new business development within the consents' projects.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within consultancy or offshore wind.
  • Qualified to degree level, or equivalent, in an appropriate environmental discipline.
  • Ideally hold a professional membership with a recognized environmental body (IEMA, CIEEM, CIWEM).
  • Proven experience with environmental consents.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ideally experience working closely with stakeholders.
