Senior Accountant

TPF Recruitment, a leading accountancy practice recruitment agency in the South-East, is seeking an experienced Senior Accounts & Outsourcing Manager to join a reputable firm of chartered accountants. This is an exciting opportunity to progress in your career with a market-leading, chartered accountancy practice, offering lots of client exposure and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities- Be the primary contact for a portfolio of clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring their needs are met.
- Manage a team of bookkeepers / management accounts who will be data processing on behalf of your clients, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Prepare statutory financial statements and audit files for the client's auditors, maintaining high standards of quality and attention to detail.
- Support the practice in building and maintaining a strong client base, identifying new business opportunities and developing relationships.
- Develop and allocate work to junior members of the team, mentoring and guiding them to achieve their full potential.
- You will be a qualified, senior accountant with experience of managing a portfolio of clients, possessing excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Previous experience of working in an accounts and outsourcing capacity, with a strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance.
- Strong technical capability in account and taxation, with good IT skills and knowledge of emerging technologies.
- Excellent communication skills, both internally and with third parties, with a team player attitude and good leadership qualities.
A highly competitive salary of £60,000 - £78,000 dependent on experience and background, negotiable. A comprehensive benefits package is also on offer, including a range of perks and rewards.
