Beccles – Care Assistant.

We are seeking caring and committed individuals to become part of our Care Team in the Beccles area.

As a vital member of our Care Team, you will benefit from a range of offerings, including:

  • Paid Mileage: Receive compensation for your travel at 42p per mile.

About the Role:

As a member of our exceptional Care Team in Beccles, your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Personal Care: Assisting clients with all aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Meal Preparation: Addressing our clients' nutritional needs.
  • General Domestic Support: Tasks such as shopping visits, cleaning, and more.
  • Medication Administration: Along with other complex interventions based on your training level.
  • Maintaining accurate records, including Care logs and Medication Administration Records.
  • Delegated Healthcare Tasks: Additional responsibilities may include:
    • Supporting skin integrity and wound healing through dressing changes.
    • Assisting with nutrition management using a PEG (percutaneous endoscopic gastronomy).
    • Helping clients manage diabetes through insulin administration and monitoring.

A Valid Driving Licence & Access to Your Own Vehicle is Essential for This Role, as you will be providing crucial care and support to our clients in the Beccles area.

While prior experience in the care industry is beneficial, it is not mandatory. You will participate in a 6-day paid induction program, which includes a fully funded care certificate and all the essential skills and knowledge required to excel as a Care Worker.
