Beccles – Care Assistant.

We are seeking caring and committed individuals to become part of our Care Team in the Beccles area.

About the Role:

As a member of our exceptional Care Team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Personal Care: Assisting customers with all aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Meal Preparation: Supporting customers' nutritional needs.
  • General Domestic Tasks: Activities such as shopping visits and cleaning.
  • Administering Medication: Along with other complex interventions based on your training level.
  • Maintaining accurate records, including Care logs and Medication Administration Records.
  • Delegated Healthcare Tasks: Additional responsibilities such as:
    • Supporting skin integrity and wound healing by changing dressings.
    • Assisting with nutrition using a PEG (percutaneous endoscopic gastronomy).
    • Helping manage diabetes through insulin administration monitoring.

A Valid Driving Licence & Access to Your Own Vehicle is Essential for This Role, as you will be providing crucial care and support to our customers.

While prior experience in the Care Industry is beneficial, it is not mandatory. You will participate in a 6-day paid induction program, which includes a fully funded care certificate and all essential skills and knowledge needed to excel as a Care Worker.
