School Cover Supervisor

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Cover Supervisor to join our team at Outwood Grange Academies Trust. As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our school during short-term teacher absences.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise whole classes during short-term teacher absences
- Assist in preparing the learning environment and materials required
- Cover lessons of any subject using the cover work set by the teacher
- Set high expectations to motivate and challenge students
- Manage behaviour effectively and promote a positive learning environment
We are seeking an individual with good communication and listening skills, who can maintain respect and confidentiality at all times. The successful candidate will be responsible for organising the daily cover rota for absent staff and contacting teaching supply agencies to arrange supply staff.
Working PatternThe working pattern for this role is 32 hours per week, plus 5 additional days, Monday to Friday, term time only.
