**Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Master Production Scheduler to join our team at Round-Peg Solutions (RPS). As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing the weekly Master Production Schedule (MPS) to balance demand and supply within available capacity and set inventory targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the weekly MPS to ensure alignment with business objectives and optimize site capacity.
  • Create and maintain schedules to deliver in line with program requirements while maintaining inventory targets.
  • Schedule production for products and production lines, taking into account physical and manning constraints.
  • Ensure schedules are based on agreed working calendars and include all planned downtime, such as holidays, routine maintenance, and line closures.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure availability and optimize production planning.
  • Re-schedule production to address past due items on a weekly basis.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in forecasting, demand planning, daily scheduling, execution, master data management, and inventory management.

Requirements:

  • Practitioner-level expertise in forecasting and demand planning, daily scheduling and execution, master data management, and inventory management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
