About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineer to join our team at Laing O'Rourke. As a Senior Engineer, you will play a key role in the delivery of our projects, working closely with our project engineers and site teams to ensure the safe and effective management of tasks and the technical responsibility for the outcome.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the setting out process, understanding equipment limitations and methods
  • Utilize and recommend best engineering practices
  • Design process knowledge and RAMS
  • Interpret as-built information and provide guidance to less experienced staff
  • Complete QA documentation and record keeping, and implement ITP requirements
  • Produce method statements and understand temporary works and TWC
  • Aware of site HS&E procedures and materials and plant, including call-off schedules
Team Interaction
  • Understand design team responsibility and role, including BIM
  • Interact with commercial teams to understand project outputs
  • Work with planning and quality teams
  • Ability to work with teams on various systems being utilized
