Job Title: Test Engineer - Assistant Team Leader

At Innovate Recruitment Ltd, we are seeking a highly skilled Test Engineer - Assistant Team Leader to join our team. As a key member of our Defence Maritime team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our clients' equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct functional and system testing on MOD and commercial equipment, ensuring compliance with established safe operating procedures and industry standards.
  • Collaborate closely with project and team members to develop solutions aimed at achieving project objectives, while maintaining productivity levels and upholding quality standards.
  • Lead and participate in regular project-specific meetings to keep stakeholders informed of progress and relevant issues.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and policies, ensuring a secure and legally compliant work environment.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of HNC in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
  • Test Engineering experience, preferably in the Defence/Aerospace industry.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of internal and ISO9001:2015 Quality Management Systems, ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management, and 5S continuous improvement and 7W waste elimination processes.
  • Familiarity with ESD and IPC 620 qualification (training can be provided).
