Northern Ireland Electricity Networks is the owner of the electricity transmission and distribution networks in Northern Ireland, serving 910,000 customers including homes, businesses, and farms.

We are seeking to recruit Team Managers who will lead work teams and associated work programmes with a strong focus on developing and maintaining a strong safety culture and the development of the safety performance of their teams.

The following roles have been identified within our Customer Delivery Directorate:

Team Manager to support our 11kV (and below) Asset Replacement Programme in East Depot; Team Manager to support our Overhead Lines Refurbishment Programme in South Depot; Team Manager to support our contract management team.

Location is flexible.

The post holder will be expected to operate as part of a team and be able to effectively plan, prioritise, and manage workloads to meet demanding deadlines.

The successful candidate should demonstrate a positive attitude and willingness to regard customer service as a top priority and will require a high degree of self-motivation, and to work in a flexible manner.

The Team Manager will be responsible for leading work teams and associated work programmes, with a strong focus on developing and maintaining a strong safety culture and the development of the safety performance of their teams.

The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire their team to achieve their goals.

The Team Manager will also be responsible for ensuring that all work is carried out in a safe and efficient manner, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.

The successful candidate will be a strong communicator, with excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to build effective relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.

The Team Manager will be responsible for managing budgets, resources, and timelines, with a focus on delivering projects on time and within budget.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the electricity industry, with knowledge of transmission and distribution networks, and the ability to apply this knowledge to lead and manage work teams.

The Team Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing safety policies and procedures, with a focus on maintaining a strong safety culture within the team.

The successful candidate will be a strong problem-solver, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
