Service Administrator Role

VTA Recruitment is seeking a skilled Service Administrator to join a family-run business in the refrigeration industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and supporting a team of service technicians.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage customer inquiries and respond to queries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Coordinate the deployment of engineers to customer sites for repairs and breakdowns.
  • Prepare and update customer reports and service logs.
  • Arrange and delegate repairs to be completed in the workshop.
  • Conduct quality check services and maintain accurate records.
  • Liaise with customers to confirm breakdowns of costs and manage bookings.

Requirements:

  • Methodical approach with the ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficient in computer systems and adaptability to in-house software and IT systems.
  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments.

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday
  • 08:30am to 16:30pm (TBC at interview)
  • Competitive salary: £25k
  • 25 days holiday per year
