Job Title: Building Control Surveyor

Our client, a well-established company with over 50 years' experience in the construction sector, is seeking a skilled Building Control Surveyor to join their team. As a Building Control Surveyor, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise, quality assurance, and site inspections to ensure compliance with regulations.

The Role

The purpose of this role is to deliver exceptional customer service with professional integrity, working closely with the business, clients, and senior management to ensure the build is compliant with regulations. You will be responsible for:

  1. Completing site inspection duties and corresponding support documents in line with the company's SLA with its clients.
  2. Providing technical expertise and quality assurance to ensure compliance with regulations.
  3. Assisting in the delivery of internal technical auditing across project risks, site surveying, plans checking, and management.
  4. Delivering a consistent service and building effective client relationships on all schemes through the completion of surveying duties.
  5. Working with the company operations manager to deliver projects successfully to all stakeholders through the completion of surveying duties.
The Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A building degree or at least 5 years' experience in inspecting new build homes.
  • Proficiency in carrying out key stage inspections and audits throughout the build process from the foundation stage.
  • Experience in managing other Surveyors.
