About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and innovative SENCO to join our team at Outcomes First Group. As a key member of our Leadership Team, you will be responsible for the strategic leadership development of Special Education Needs provision, driving improvement and excellence in our schools.

As a SENCO, you will work closely with the Headteacher and therapy team to determine the strategic development of the SEND policy, providing professional guidance to colleagues and liaising with staff, parents, and other agencies to ensure that pupils with SEN receive appropriate support and high-quality teaching.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective SEND policies and procedures
  • Provide professional guidance and support to colleagues on SEN-related matters
  • Liaise with staff, parents, and other agencies to ensure seamless support for pupils with SEN
  • Advise on differentiated teaching methods and strategies to support pupils with complex needs
  • Support the development of a culture of inclusivity and respect for diversity in our schools
