Key Responsibilities- Manage entry and exit procedures for staff, visitors, contractors, and vehicles, ensuring seamless and secure operations.
- Provide exceptional customer service to visitors, fostering a welcoming and safe environment, and addressing any concerns or queries they may have.
- Conduct regular patrols to maintain external security, identifying and mitigating potential risks.
- Perform searches and confiscate forbidden items in line with established policies and procedures.
- Escort visitors and prisoners to ensure safety and security, adhering to strict protocols.
- Handle mail and maintain logs to report contraband items, upholding the highest standards of integrity.
- Supervise prisoner activities, including clothing and property exchanges, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
- Operate the establishment's radio system and monitor CCTV, staying vigilant and responsive to emerging situations.
- Monitor the prisoners' PIN Phone system and maintain logs, maintaining accurate records and reporting any anomalies.
- Basic to intermediate IT skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders and build strong relationships.
