Job Title: MEP Revit/CAD Technician

Vertical Recruitment Limited is working with a building services consultancy that offers a wealth of experience to the construction industry and specializes in low carbon and sustainable mechanical and electrical designs and infrastructure.

Established for over 30 years, the company has a strong focus on building long-term relationships with clients and a strong focus in the healthcare industry.

Responsibilities
  1. Setup drawings and make them ready for the team to work on.
  2. Review project files for compliance with standards and protocols.
  3. Implement best practice procedures.
  4. Assist engineers in drawing production.
  5. Produce accurate 2D drawings and 3D models.
  6. Coordinate drawing production in line with project requirements and in conjunction with other disciplines.
  7. Helping to technically deliver CAD/BIM projects in the role of CAD and BIM coordination.
  8. Able to meet tight deadlines and work alone or with a team.
  9. To contribute or otherwise assist as required.
Qualities and Skills Required
  • Good working knowledge of any CAD package, ideally AutoCAD/Revit.
  • Experience working in a building services environment.
  • Able to demonstrate the ability to undertake the above responsibilities.
  • Good knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and public health engineering terminology.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Able to manage sensitive and sometimes confidential information.
