Are you an experienced CAD Technician or Engineer specializing in mechanical engineering products? Do you possess strong skills in 3D CAD software?

We are seeking a CAD Engineer to:

  • Implement CAD design modifications and select components to meet unique customer specifications before quotation.
  • Collaborate with fellow engineers and manufacturing teams to establish timelines for custom products and features.
  • Create detailed CAD drawings for sheet metal components and parts.
  • Maintain and update a database of custom products that have been quoted and produced.
  • Monitor and resolve issues with custom units and features to prevent recurrence in future orders.
  • Participate in meetings to support sales engineers in discussing large-scale projects for custom equipment with clients.
  • Act as the primary contact for manufacturing regarding challenges with custom units.
  • Provide guidance to facilitate the production of custom products and options.
  • Develop technical specifications for custom equipment.

Qualifications: As a CAD Design Engineer, you should hold an HNC/D or a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with clients and internal teams. Proficiency in 3D CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Solid Edge, or Radan is required.
