Job Title: Chemical Safety Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Chemical Safety Manager to join our team at Hunter Selection.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting effective H&S management, influencing behavior, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement across both sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review, update, communicate, and adhere to EHS policies, procedures, rules, and regulations across both sites.
  • Ensure both sites meet statutory obligations in relation to environmental, health, safety, and welfare at work.
  • Complete and review risk assessments and safe working procedures in line with relevant timescales.
  • Document, investigate, and implement corrective actions for accidents.
  • Establish a program of audits, inspections, and training, liaising with external providers.
  • Manage, chair, and document Health and Safety Meetings, ensuring action points are met within deadlines.
  • Liaise with interested parties, including the HSE, Insurers, Solicitors, and Suppliers.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a fast-paced facility.
  • Proven experience in the field of H&S within a manufacturing/industrial setting.
