Job Title: Senior Tenancy Support Worker

Vetro Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Tenancy Support Worker to join our team. As a Senior Tenancy Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing social, emotional, and practical support to individuals experiencing challenges with their mental health and emotional well-being that could impact their ability to maintain a stable tenancy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support to individuals to develop life skills and maintain a tenancy within the community
  • Work with individuals to identify and address underlying issues that may be contributing to their mental health and emotional well-being
  • Develop and implement personalized support plans to help individuals achieve their goals and improve their overall well-being
  • Collaborate with other professionals, such as housing officers and mental health professionals, to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to support
  • Provide advocacy and support to individuals to help them access the resources and services they need
Requirements:
  • Experience working in a similar role or in a related field, such as mental health or social care
  • Strong knowledge of the mental health and housing sectors, including the benefits system and housing options
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with individuals and professionals
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions
