Job Overview:

Tata Technologies is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Seating Systems Engineer. This role will be responsible for ensuring compliance with global regulatory requirements in various regions, including North America, Asia, and the EU.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with customer regulatory teams to develop and maintain cell and module regulatory requirement lists.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, technologies, and regulations related to global regulatory requirements in performance and safety.
  • Ensure the most up-to-date regulatory requirement lists are included in proper sourcing documents and track supplier compliance in program execution.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in product development and/or process development for Lithium Ion Batteries, with a strong understanding of energy storage systems and vehicle electrification.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with good communication, problem-solving, computer, and presentation skills.
  • Experience with requirements flow and development.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or equivalent.
  • Ability to resolve conflicting requirements across multiple organizations.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
