OVERVIEW OF JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Facility Cleaning Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various environments, including washrooms, kitchens, carpets, and adjacent areas for a prestigious client.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Performing vacuuming and mopping tasks, ensuring washrooms and kitchens are kept to a high standard of cleanliness.
  • Conducting deep cleaning as necessary, utilizing buffers and carpet cleaning equipment – training will be provided.
  • Regularly ensuring that the premises are safe and sanitized.
  • Managing waste removal, restocking consumables, and addressing immediate cleaning needs such as spillages.
  • Providing excellent customer service while collaborating with the client and their staff.

Person Specification:

The ideal candidate will be well-presented with strong communication skills. A positive attitude, politeness, and approachability are essential.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in cleaning roles is preferred, especially in unsupervised settings with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Strong customer service and leadership capabilities.
  • Problem-solving and effective time management skills are desirable.
  • Ability to adhere to scheduled tasks and work independently.
  • A flexible and proactive approach is crucial.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations is required.
  • Must embody ABM values by being presentable, uniformed, and helpful at all times, with a willingness to exceed expectations.
